"" L@@K, Reunion 2006 will be - Sept. 7th, 8th and 9th""

The site and facility negotiations and arrangements have been contracted for Reunion 2006. There are quite a number of hotels in Colorado Springs but only a few that can/will satisfactorily meet the needs and or requirements of our group.

The Reunion will be held in Colorado Springs, Colorado on Thursday the 7th, Friday the 8th Saturday the 9th of September, 2006 with departure date of Sunday the 10th. A block of 100 Guest Rooms have been set aside for our reunion. Check-In Time is: 16:00 and Check-Out Time is 12:00.

Remember, this is football season and the Academy Hotel is the Host Hotel for the Air Force Academy Football Team. As I understand it, the Football Schedule will not be out until Feb. We could not wait until the Football Schedule is released as some of our folks have to give a 12 month notice/request for Vacation Time. Also, this way, whether you wanted to attend a game or not, everyone has the same odds. And by choosing a random date before the release of the Schedule, we do not have to worry about availability and/or rates as they are preset and contracted.
I have learned that there will be no ball game on this weekend. J.C.
